Sardar Patel Stadium is Going to become Larger than MCG, but is it any better?

The dream of all Indian cricketers is going to be transformed into reality soon. The construction of the world's largest cricket stadium "Sardar Patel Stadium" is expected to end in 2019. The new stadium will snatch the title of the largest cricket stadium from the current Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG),  and is itself become the world's largest stadium. but the main question is here Sardar Patel Stadium is Bigger than MCG, but is it any better?

Is Sardar Patel Stadium is Better than MCG?

Today, I am trying to answer this question on the basis of available facts and on my findings, yes it is better than MCG stadium in every way. It is being constructed on 63 acres of land and the total project cost is 700 crore rupees.

The stadium will have 76 corporate boxes, four dressing rooms, one clubhouse and Olympic swimming pool, besides this parking capacity will also be increased, and it will provide the parking space for up to 3,000 cars and 10,000 bikes. The overall stadium is being built in such a way that the visitor can easily see the batting area from each corner. This enhanced and unrivaled viewing experience will be presented for the stadium. Large LED screens will also be installed. Floodlights and other lighting structures also have improved day and night play international and national matches.

Just to recall, Sardar Patel Stadium aka Motera Stadium is one of the premier cricket stadiums of India. It is located in the Motera locality of Ahmedabad. The old cricket stadium at Motera had a capacity of 54,000 people but last year Gujarat Cricket Association’s handed over it expansion and renovation project to Larsen & Toubro Company.
